| // Digital Combine 16 This intermedial installation captures the artist's first impressions of Miami Beach through a convergence of digital video, wall decals, painting, 3D printing, window decals, and electronics. The work explores the ontological relationships between these diverse mediums, examining how different materials and technologies interact to construct meaning and experience.
Positioned in the window space, the piece functions as both observation and display that mirrors the artist's role as visitor encountering Miami Beach's distinctive visual and cultural landscape. The various mediums don't merely coexist but actively inform one another, creating a layered dialogue between the digital and physical, the printed and painted, the electronic and static. Through this material conversation, the work investigates how initial impressions are formed and mediated, questioning whether our understanding of place emerges from direct experience or through the accumulation of mediated encounters. The window becomes a threshold between interior contemplation and exterior observation, reflecting the transitional space of the visitor's perspective. This work was presented in a Walgreens window on 74th and Collins in Miami Beach. You can view the NFT here
